Dugges Bryggeri Meteor is a luminous Hazy IPA that captures the essence of 'space juice' with an intense, multi-layered sensory profile. The 6.5% ABV is masterfully integrated into a soft, pillowy body that delivers high-impact notes of zesty orange, ruby grapefruit, and fresh lime. These citrus layers are further enhanced by an undercurrent of intense tropical fruit and a subtle, grounding pine resin. The experience is defined by its luminous hop saturation and a restrained, smooth bitterness, resulting in a beer that balances the vibrancy of exotic fruits with a clean, bready malt backbone and an off-dry, refreshing finish.
Appearance. Straw to light orange (SRM 4-7); opaque and heavily hazy with a characteristic 'shine'; features a medium, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring dominant notes of orange, grapefruit, and lime zest alongside pineapple and mango. Subtle piney undertones are present. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light bready or grainy background without caramel or toast. Esters are fruity and supportive of the hop character.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavors of orange, citrus pith, and tropical fruits. Low, bready malt flavor provides a soft foundation. Perceived bitterness is medium-low and smooth, never sharp or harsh. The finish is off-dry to medium, leaving a lingering impression of tropical fruit juice and light citrus oils. Fermentation character is clean and supportive.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated. Entirely free of hop harshness, astringency, or a raw starch texture.
