LET IT B is a collaborative Hazy Double IPA that showcases the distinct tropical potency of Bru-1 hops. This 8% ABV ale pours a saturated, opaque gold with a dense, persistent white head. The aroma is dominated by a singular focus on ripe pineapple, supported by secondary notes of green melon and soft, bready malt. On the palate, the hop intensity delivers a lush, juicy profile of tropical fruit and stone fruit, balanced by a soft bitterness that avoids harshness. A smooth, medium-full body and creamy mouthfeel heighten the juice-like character, finishing with a lingering, fruit-forward resonance and subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (5-7 SRM); opaque, milky haze with a thick, frothy white head that exhibits excellent lacing and retention.
Aroma. High intensity. Explosive notes of freshly cut pineapple and sweet tropical fruit from the Bru-1 hops. Subtle herbal and grassy undertones. Neutral, doughy malt presence with a very low, clean fermentation ester profile.
Taste. Initial punch of ripe pineapple and passion fruit. Moderate hop bitterness provides structure without becoming aggressive. Malt flavors are supportive and grainy, providing a soft bready base. The finish is relatively clean with a lingering tropical sweetness and a soft, non-astringent aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth that remains well-integrated. No harsh hop-derived astringency.
