This Specialty IPA presents a mesmerizing golden hue, signaling a bright and approachable character. The sensory profile is defined by a sophisticated interplay between the peppery, spicy notes of rye and a vibrant hop duo. Simcoe contributes sharp citrus and resinous undertones, while Amarillo adds layers of tropical stone fruits—notably apricot and peach—alongside delicate floral aromas. The malt profile remains lean to ensure the spicy grain character shines through. It finishes exceptionally crisp and dry, balancing a firm bitterness with a refreshing quality that belies its strength, making for an easy-drinking yet complex experience.

Appearance. Golden hue (6–8 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Large, persistent white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring grapefruit, pine, and resinous Simcoe notes, complemented by the tropical peach and floral character of Amarillo. A moderate peppery and spicy grain aroma from the rye is present, with a clean fermentation profile and very low bready malt.

Taste. Initial hop-forward flavors of citrus zest and stone fruit. Medium-high hop bitterness is immediate but clean. The mid-palate reveals a distinctive spicy, peppery rye malt flavor that supports the hops without adding sweetness. Finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering resinous and spicy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a slight grainy creaminess from the rye. Moderate to high carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth. Crisp and refreshing with no harsh astringency.
