This Double IPA presents an assertive sensory profile defined by a vibrant citrus character derived from Summit, Cascade, and Equinox hops. The aroma is an intense bouquet of grapefruit, lemon zest, and subtle tropical fruits, layered over a clean, neutral malt base. Visually, it displays a striking copper-yellow hue with good clarity and a persistent off-white head. On the palate, the high bitterness is firm yet refined, providing a structural backbone that leads into a crisp, dry finish. Despite its 8.6% ABV, the alcohol is well-integrated, offering a smooth warmth that enhances its bold, hoppy, and resinous aftertaste.

Appearance. Deep gold to copper-orange (8-12 SRM) with good clarity. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma dominated by citrus zest, grapefruit, and floral notes. Subtle pine and herbal spice from the hops are supported by a low, neutral, grainy malt character. Clean fermentation profile with a subtle, smooth alcohol presence.

Taste. Initial impression is a wave of intense citrus and resinous hop flavors. Moderately high bitterness is prominent but lacks harshness, balanced by a soft, unobtrusive malt sweetness. The hop flavor remains complex through the mid-palate, concluding in a characteristically dry finish with a lingering bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate to medium-high. A noticeable, well-restrained alcohol warmth is present, without any harsh hop-derived astringency.
