This collaboration Hazy IPA delivers a vibrant sensory experience, blending hops from Slovenia, New Zealand, and Australia into a singular, juicy profile. A soft, glowing haze sets the stage for an intense aromatic burst of ripe passionfruit, zesty lime, and stone fruit, driven by the diverse hop origins. On the palate, High Grade balances a smooth, medium-full body with a restrained bitterness that allows the tropical fruit flavors to lead. The malt remains a supportive, bready backdrop, ensuring a clean, off-dry finish that emphasizes drinkability despite its 7% ABV. It is a harmonious, transcontinental expression of the modern Hazy IPA style.
Appearance. Color is a deep gold with an orange hue (approx. 6 SRM). It exhibits a characteristic opaque haze with a luminous shine. The head is white, rocky, and meringue-like, showing excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit, passionfruit, and crushed lime. Underlying notes of stone fruit and sweet citrus are present. The malt character is low and neutral, providing a light bready or grainy backbone with no caramel or toast. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Massive fruit-forward hop flavors mirroring the aroma, dominated by mango, lime, and tropical medley. Malt flavor is low, suggesting light bread. Bitterness is low to medium-low, well-integrated and never harsh. The finish is soft and off-dry, with a lingering fruitiness in the aftertaste that remains smooth and juicy.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. The beer is smooth on the palate with no astringency. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but subtle.
