Beyond Reason is an expressive micro pale ale that maximizes aromatic impact despite its sessionable 2.9% ABV. The deliberate selection of Mosaic and Citra hops drives a vibrant sensory experience, saturating the nose and palate with notes of tropical mango, bright grapefruit, and a hint of stone fruit. As a modern American Pale Ale interpretation, it prioritizes a clean, lean malt profile that allows the hop-forward character to shine without heavy caramel interference. The result is a refreshing, light-bodied beer that delivers the punchy hop intensity of a much stronger ale while remaining crisp, balanced, and remarkably easy to drink.
Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 5 SRM) with a moderately large, frothy white head that shows good retention. The beer displays a light, crystalline clarity with fine carbonation bubbles visible.
Aroma. Moderately high hop intensity featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit, citrus, and subtle berry notes from the Mosaic and Citra hops. A low, neutral, grainy maltiness provides a clean background, accompanied by very low fruity esters and a lack of DMS or diacetyl.
