Chroust Cirrus presents as a vibrant Hazy IPA, leveraging the concentrated impact of Cryo hops and Phantasm powder to deliver a profound sensory experience. The profile is dominated by an explosion of tropical fruit, specifically passion fruit, guava, and bright citrus zest, underpinned by a soft, pillowy malt base of light grain and bread dough. Despite its approachable 5.1% ABV, the beer maintains a dense, juicy character with a silky texture. The integration of thiol-boosting ingredients creates a sophisticated layer of Sauvignon Blanc-like grape and gooseberry notes, finishing with a restrained bitterness and a clean, fruit-forward linger.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (3-5 SRM). Distinctly hazy with a luminous, opaque sheen. Features a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity with a massive hit of tropical fruit—notably mango, pineapple, and passion fruit—alongside a distinct white grape note. Background malt is low, offering simple bready and wheaty scents. Fermentation is clean with supportive fruity esters that complement the heavy dry-hopping.

Taste. Tropical fruit juice dominates the initial impression, followed by layers of grapefruit and sweet melon. Malt flavors are subtle, providing a soft cracker and flour-like foundation. Hop bitterness is low to moderate but stays smooth, never becoming harsh or grassy. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally juicy, with a lingering note of citrus pith and exotic fruit.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, rounded mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate. No alcohol warmth is present. Smooth and pillowy without being cloying or overly viscous; lacks any hop-derived astringency.
