This Imperial Stout presents an incredibly dense sensory experience, defined by a luxurious integration of Bahian Cocoa and Barbosa de Ouro coffee. The aroma is an intense bouquet of molasses, freshly baked cookies, and rich brownie, underscored by the nutty, hazelnut-forward profile of gianduia. On the palate, the sheer viscosity is striking, delivering layers of dark chocolate and espresso roast that meld into a warming, bittersweet finish. The high alcohol content provides a sophisticated heat that complements the heavy malt backbone, while the specialty Brazilian ingredients offer a unique terroir-driven depth to this massive, dessert-like stout.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). Pours with a thick, creamy, dark tan head that shows moderate retention. High viscosity is evident through distinct legs on the glass after swirling.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by rich roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and cocoa. Specific notes of molasses and toasted cookies are prominent. Low dark fruit esters resembling raisins and prunes. Alcohol is noticeable but smooth and well-integrated.

Taste. Intensely flavorful with an initial impression of sweet brownie and decadent gianduia. Strong coffee roast provides a balancing bitterness against a deep caramel and toasted malt backbone. The finish is long and bittersweet with a lingering espresso and dark chocolate aftertaste. Complex and harmonious despite its strength.
