NL - Cuvée Armand & Gaston Vintage 2022 Pakket Dit pakket bevat zes flessen Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston Vintage 2022 750 ml. Ideaal om nu te drinken én langer te laten rijpen. Zoals altijd gaat een deel van de opbrengst van deze botteling naar de vzw die de nalatenschap van (het werk van) Felix De Boeck beheert.

Voor deze blend van Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston hebben we lambikken geblended van vier verschillende vaten en tien verschillende brouwsels. Omdat we ongeveer 20% vier jaar oude lambik en een grote hoeveelheid twee jaar oude lambikken gebruikten, bedroeg de gewogen gemiddelde leeftijd van deze blend bij botteling 24 maanden. Tel daar nog eens drie jaar kelderrijping bij op, wat de gewogen leeftijd van deze fles op 50 maanden brengt bij de release. Meer dan 80% van de granen die in de brouwsels voor deze blend werden gebruikt, zijn afkomstig van ons eigen Pajottenlandse Granencollectief. Tijdens het blenden hebben we honing toegevoegd van onze eigen bijenkorven op ons Schaarbeekse kriekenveld.

Dankzij onze grote, schone bibliotheek van (uitsluitend) flessen kunnen we steeds putten uit een uitgebreide selectie van telkens unieke lambikassemblages. Daarom lanceren we, enkel via onze webshop, graag al eens nieuwe pakketten met zowel geliefde klassiekers als meer beperkte flessen.

EN - The Cuvée Armand & Gaston Vintage 2022 Pack This Pack contains six bottles of the Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston Vintage 2022 750ml. Ideal to drink now and let age longer. As always, part of the revenues of this bottling goes to npo looking after the legacy of (the work of) Felix De Boeck.

For this blend of Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston, we blended lambikken from four different barrels and ten different brews. As we used about 20% of four-year old lambik and a lot of two year old lambikken, the weighted average age of this blend upon bottling was 24 months. Add to that another three years of cellaring which brings the weighted age of this bottle to 50 months upon its release. More than 80% of the cereals used in the brews for this blend, were sourced from our own Pajottenland Cereal Collective. While blending, we added some honey from our own bee hives in our Schaarbeekse cherry field.

Thanks to our large beautiful bottle(-only) library, we can always select unique lambic blends from a vast selection. That is why, now and then, we release, only through our webshop, new packs with both beloved classics as well as more limited bottles.
