This vibrant Wild Specialty Beer offers a nostalgic sensory journey defined by lush Scottish blueberries and tart blackcurrants. The pour reveals a deep, saturated berry hue with a dense, fruit-stained head. On the nose, intense jammy fruit notes collide with an unmistakable bubblegum sweetness and a sharp, clean lactic tang that hints at the complexity of the wild fermentation. The palate presents a balanced tug-of-war between the juicy, dark berry intensity and a bright, refreshing acidity that cuts through the beer's thick, juicy body. Despite its candy-inspired roots, the experience is sophisticated, finishing with lingering traces of wild forest fruit and soft, candy-like esters.

Appearance. Saturated deep purple to magenta hue (SRM 30+); hazy to nearly opaque appearance. Moderate pink-tinted head with fair retention and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of jammy blueberries and earthy, tart blackcurrants. Distinctive sweet bubblegum esters are prominent, supported by a clean, sharp lactic acidity. Hop character is absent; malt is limited to a very low, neutral crackery note.

Taste. Bold, tart initial impression with a high level of jammy Scottish blueberries and blackcurrant skin flavors. The bubblegum character provides a perception of sweetness that balances the firm lactic sourness. Hop bitterness is very low, allowing the fruit acidity to dominate the balance. The finish is fruity and refreshing with a lingering tartness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a thick, juicy texture unusual for the style. Moderate carbonation. Low alcohol warmth. Slight puckering astringency from fruit tannins provides a drying effect on the finish.
