This God of Yule Oatmeal Stout presents a decadent sensory experience inspired by Swedish Kanelbullar. A robust 7% ABV provides a substantial canvas for deep chocolate malt notes and the silky, velvety texture characteristic of a heavy oat addition. The aroma is dominated by aromatic cinnamon and creamy vanilla, evoking a fresh-baked pastry. On the palate, the initial sweetness of vanilla transitions into a warm, spiced core of cinnamon, balanced by the gentle roast of chocolate malt. The finish is long and indulgent, leaving a lingering impression of spiced cocoa and sweet dough with a comforting, well-integrated warmth.
Appearance. Opaque ebony with deep mahogany highlights at the edges. Topped by a thick, persistent, creamy tan head that leaves dense lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity aroma featuring prominent cinnamon spice and sweet vanilla bean. Beneath the spices lies a rich milk chocolate character and a light, nutty, grainy malt scent. Fermentation is clean; hop aroma is absent.
