Electric Light is a luminous Hazy IPA, born from a collaboration between Boundary and Track. The profile is defined by a vibrant interplay of Motueka and Citra hops, delivering a concentrated burst of lemon and lime zest alongside lush tropical fruit enchantment. These hop-derived qualities are supported by a clean, bready malt backbone that provides a soft, pillowy canvas for the intense aromatics. Expect an approachable bitterness that recedes quickly, allowing the juice-forward character to dominate. The fermentation is clean, emphasizing the depth of hop oils through a complex medley of citrus and stone fruit, finishing with a smooth, lingering fruit-skin essence.

Appearance. Pours a deep straw to pale gold (4-6 SRM) with a significant, opaque haze that creates a characteristic shine. It is topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity, dominated by Citra’s tropical mango and grapefruit alongside Motueka’s distinctive fresh lime and lemon zest. Background notes of sweet grain and soft bread dough are present, with light fruity esters that complement the hop profile.

Taste. Explodes with citrus-forward flavors of lime cordial and lemon peel, transitioning into tropical notes of pineapple and papaya. The malt flavor is low, suggesting light crackers or dough. Bitterness is moderate but soft, balancing an off-dry finish that avoids any harshness or hop burn.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the drinkability. A very subtle alcohol warmth is present, but it remains well-integrated without any astringency or raw grain character.
