This 4.5% Hazy Brummie reimagines the Ordinary Bitter with a modern, fruit-led focus. Eschewing traditional earthy notes, it showcases the tropical potential of Strata, Idaho 7, and Cashmere hops. Strata and Idaho 7 drive intense notes of ripe mango, succulent papaya, and bright pineapple, while Cashmere adds a delicate layer of sweet lychee. The malt provides a soft, bready foundation that remains in the background, allowing the hop-derived fruitiness to shine. With its hazy appearance and intentionally low bitterness, this beer offers a refreshing, contemporary twist on a classic sessionable style.

Appearance. Hazy deep gold to light amber color (SRM 8-12) with a moderate, off-white head that shows fair retention and light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity; prominent tropical fruit notes of mango, pineapple, and lychee from Strata, Idaho 7, and Cashmere hops. Low bready and biscuity malt aroma with light fruity esters; no diacetyl or DMS.

Taste. Initial impression of tropical fruit sweetness featuring mango and papaya. Hop flavor is moderate, leaning toward pineapple and lychee. Malt provides a low bready, biscuity base.
