This Hazy IPA is a saturated showcase of the Nelson Sauvin hop variety, delivering an intense sensory experience characterized by its signature white wine and crushed gooseberry profile. The double dry-hopped treatment amplifies the aromatic impact, presenting an explosive bouquet of passion fruit and tropical diesel over a neutral, bready malt base. On the palate, the mouthfeel is exceptionally soft and pillowy, typical of the style, masking a moderate bitterness with a juicy, fruit-forward presence. The finish is smooth and clean, leaving a lingering impression of Sauvignon Blanc grapes and a subtle, refreshing citrus zest that invites another sip.
Appearance. Straw to light orange with a deep, opaque haze that provides a luminous shine. Supports a thick, meringue-like white head with high retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Nelson Sauvin character: gooseberry, white grape, and passion fruit. Background notes of bready, grainy malt; clean fermentation with no caramel or toastiness.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with prominent white wine and tropical fruit notes. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is soft and well-integrated. Low bready malt flavor supports an off-dry, juicy finish without harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency.
