This Gueuze presents a refined and accessible entry into the world of wild Belgian ales. Brewed with raw wheat and aged lambic, it pours a brilliant golden hue with a persistent, mousse-like head. The nose is a delicate balance of citrus zest, aged hay, and subtle earthy funk, underpinned by a faint bready sweetness. On the palate, a crisp lactic acidity provides a refreshing sharpness, harmonized by light fruity esters and a touch of oak. A clear citrus fruitiness, reminiscent of lemon peel and rhubarb, is supported by a grainy, bready wheat character and a hint of honeyed malt. No hop aroma.
