Emulating a luxurious hop champagne, this sparkling Specialty IPA delivers an incredibly crisp and refreshing experience. A lively, bubbly effervescence sweeps across the palate, carrying bright, delicate hop notes of white grape, gooseberry, and fresh citrus. Designed to be ultra-dry, its bone-dry finish mimics a fine brut sparkling wine, completely devoid of heavy malt sweetness or residual sugars. With a restrained bitterness and remarkably high drinkability, it finishes exceptionally clean, leaving a lingering, elegant whisper of fruity and citrusy hop oils that entice another sip.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold color (2-3 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Tall, white, frothy head with excellent retention and fine, champagne-like effervescent bubbles rising continuously.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Dominated by bright, fresh hop aromas of white grape, melon, and zesty citrus. Virtually no malt aroma, though a very faint, neutral cracker-like note may linger in the background. Clean fermentation profile with no yeast-derived phenols or esters.
Taste. Initial impression is exceptionally crisp. Hop-forward flavors of white grape, gooseberry, and citrus zest lead the profile. Minimal neutral malt flavor. Bitterness is low to moderate, soft, and well-integrated, far below a standard American IPA. The finish is bone-dry and ultra-clean, with a fleeting, refreshing aftertaste of delicate hop oils.
Mouthfeel. Very light body, nearly watery but saved by its lively character. High to very high carbonation, creating a spritzy, sparkling, champagne-like mouthfeel. Extremely smooth with zero astringency or alcohol warmth.
