Banks Brewing is a small family owned brewery in Melbourne’s South East, named for the family dog “Banks”. Starting out brewing in their Seaford home in May 2016, they’ve since made a household name for themselves.
We don’t normally see Banks do an Oat Cream IPA outside of their Cake Eater series but we’re sure happy they’ve started making exceptions. Seagulls Don’t Sleep is a big Double IPA flavour bomb, lifted up by a combination of HBC 586, Galaxy, Talus, Citra and Citra Cryo hops. With the citra hops being personally selected by the Banks team on their recent trip to Yakima, Washington.
It’s juicy, creamy, crazy hoppy and dank. Truly delicious.
