Bridges & Hemispheres is a vibrant American IPA that bridges the Pacific through a meticulous blend of hop varieties. PNW-grown Strata provides a signature resinous dankness, while NZ-grown Cascade and Nectaron erupt with tropical intensity. The sensory experience is defined by a lush bouquet of ripe pineapple, fuzzy peach, and bright citrus peel. Despite its robust 7.3% ABV, the beer maintains a lean profile with a remarkably dry finish that amplifies the hop saturation. This collaboration delivers a crisp, hop-forward character where clean malt serves only to support the explosive fruit-forward complexity and firm, refreshing bitterness.
Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (approx. 7–9 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a tall, white, persistent head that leaves intricate lacing as it recedes.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma. Dominated by tropical notes of pineapple and stone fruit (peach) from the Nectaron, underscored by a resinous dankness and passionfruit from the Strata. Subtle citrus zest from the New Zealand Cascade provides a bright top note. Low, clean, grainy malt sweetness is present but recessed. Fermentation is very clean.
Taste. Assertive hop flavor mirrors the aroma with immediate layers of peach, tropical pineapple, and oily citrus peel. The mid-palate introduces a dank, resinous quality. Bitterness is medium-high to high, providing a firm structure. Malt character is low and neutral, providing just enough support for the heavy hop load. Finishes very dry and clean with a lingering, pleasant bitterness and fruit skin aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the dry finish. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is noticeable but smooth without any harshness.
