This International Pale Lager offers a vibrant, sensory-focused experience rooted in its high-quality ingredients. The foundation of Bohemian Pilsner malt provides an exceptionally clean, grainy-sweet base, while a significant addition of rice drives the beer toward a bone-dry, snappy finish. On the nose, the traditional spicy and herbal aromatics of Saaz hops are elevated by the bright, fresh notes of honeydew and strawberry from a late charge of Huell Melon. The palate is defined by an assertive bitterness that remains crisp and refreshing, perfectly balancing the lean body and high carbonation for a thirst-quenching, spring-inspired profile.
Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a pale straw color (3 SRM). It supports a bright white, frothy head with moderate retention and light, delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a clean, grainy-malty aroma characteristic of Bohemian Pilsner malt. Distinct spicy and herbal hop notes from the Saaz are prominent, complemented by low, fruity esters reminiscent of melon and strawberry from the Huell Melon hops. Clean fermentation profile with no sulfur or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial grainy and crackery malt flavors are quickly followed by a lean, dry character from the rice. Moderate hop flavors of spice and soft fruit lead into an assertive bitterness that is firm but not harsh. The finish is very dry and well-attenuated, leaving a clean, neutral aftertaste with a fleeting hint of herbal hops.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that creates a crisp, prickly carbonic bite. It feels smooth and lean on the tongue with no alcohol warmth and a clean, refreshing close.
