Math Mode is an assertive Double IPA that balances aggressive hop character with a strikingly crisp finish. The sensory profile is dominated by a complex hop blend featuring Citra, Chinook, and Sabro, which deliver high-intensity aromas of ripe tropical guava, resinous dankness, and a unique hint of toasted coconut. On the palate, a firm, lingering bitterness provides a significant bite that surpasses traditional West Coast examples, yet remains clean and well-integrated. The beer maintains a clear, bright appearance and a dry, refreshing character, ensuring the 8.4% ABV remains smooth while citrus zest notes brighten the lingering, hop-forward aftertaste.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (8 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Supports a moderate, creamy, off-white head with excellent persistence and intricate lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma characterized by resinous pine, tropical guava, and a distinct coconut sweetness. Underlying notes of citrus zest and light grapefruit are supported by a clean, neutral, grainy malt presence.

Taste. Leading with a bold, high hop bitterness, the flavor follows the aroma with layers of tropical fruit, dank pine, and a touch of creamy coconut. The malt is soft and unobtrusive, providing a lean backbone for the hop complexity. The finish is remarkably dry and crisp with a persistent, clean bitterness.
