This Wild Specialty Beer is a decadent, viscous exploration of autumn flavors, leaning heavily into its smoothie-inspired character. It pours a dense, opaque deep garnet, releasing an intense aroma of jammy plums, earthy pumpkin puree, and a warming blend of fall spices. The palate is dominated by the bold, tart skin-character of dark plums, harmonizing with the savory richness of pumpkin and a soft lactic tang. The addition of aromatic spices provides a festive depth that balances the fruit. It finishes with a lingering fruit sweetness and a gentle acidity that cuts through the indulgent, velvet-textured mouthfeel.

Appearance. Opaque and viscous with a deep reddish-purple hue (SRM 25–30). Pours with a thick, fleeting pinkish-tan head that leaves heavy, pulp-like lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity; prominent notes of ripe, jammy plum and cooked pumpkin. Moderate spice character reminiscent of cinnamon and ginger. A clean lactic sourness is present, with very low funky wild fermentation esters and no detectable hop aroma.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tart plum juice and sweet pumpkin flesh. The middle palate features savory spice notes and a moderate lactic acidity that prevents cloying. Hop bitterness is absent, allowing the fruit and spice to lead into a long, pulpy, and sweet-tart finish.

Mouthfeel. Full, viscous body with a heavy, smoothie-like texture. Carbonation is low to moderate, enhancing the creamy mouthfeel. Very low alcohol warmth with no perceived astringency despite the spice additions.
