This opulent Imperial Stout delivers an immersive sensory experience, led by intense layers of decadent salted caramel and buttery chocolate chip cookies. The barrel aging integrates seamless notes of toasted oak and rich vanillin into a foundation of deep, roasted malts. Expect a complex bouquet of bittersweet chocolate, espresso, and dark fruits like raisins and prunes. On the palate, the indulgent sweetness of the caramel is perfectly punctuated by a sophisticated hint of salt, while the high alcohol content provides a smooth, glowing warmth. It is a harmonious, dessert-forward expression that balances charred malt bitterness with a luxurious, velvety finish.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). It pours with a thick, dense, dark tan head that shows moderate retention and leaves significant lacing. High viscosity is evident as the beer clings to the glass, forming visible legs.

Aroma. High intensity with a rich, complex profile of bittersweet chocolate, toasted cookie dough, and heavy caramel sweetness. The barrel influence adds prominent vanilla and a whisper of charred oak. Background notes of dark fruit, specifically figs and raisins, mingle with a moderate roasted coffee character and a clean, warming alcohol presence.

Taste. The initial impression is intensely sweet and malty, featuring prominent flavors of salted caramel and milk chocolate.
