"We thought about this for a long time: what kinda beer would give us the utmost feeling of pride in The Sinner Series? Well, if you know Amager Bryghus you already know that Imperial Stouts have a special place in our hearts. So “Pride” simply had to be an Imperial Stout. What is special about this take on the style is that we boiled the h… out of it. Actually we boiled it for 6 hours, making for a richer and fuller version. We would never dare calling this the perfect Imperial Stout - that would be taking pride way too close to hubris! But we hope you enjoy it nonetheless. We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Hacer de la pasión un estilo de vida. No es la primera vez que oímos esa frase como premisa de una cervecería. Pero la verdad es que muchas comparten este leitmotiv. Una de ellas es la danesa Amager Bryghus, que también es la historia de dos amigos, Morten Valentin Lundsbak y Jacob Storm. Después de muchas horas compartiendo su afición como homebrewers decidieron montar su propia cervecería en 2007. Actualmente Amager es una cervecera de éxito internacional. Es éxito se basa en su “gestión del caos” y una política de imagen corporativa que no renuncia al humor, la ironía y el sarcasmo. Pride, en inglés “orgullo”, forma parte de la serie de 7 pecados capitales que es la forma que tienen los daneses de expiar sus propios pecados. El orgullo es representado por la elegancia y negrura de una Imperial Stout. Para su elaboración han realizado una cocción de 6 horas y 6 maltas diferentes, aportándole una gran sensación licorosa y una final balanceado entre el dulce y el tostado.
