This collaboration between Amager and Trillium transforms the concept of Danish Sigtebrød into a lush Hazy IPA. Utilizing grain components inspired by the traditional bread, the beer presents a substantial, doughy malt foundation that provides a rustic counterpoint to intense New World hopping. The sensory profile is dominated by high-intensity aromas of overripe mango and bright citrus zest, while the palate delivers a tropical fruit explosion. A soft, plush mouthfeel highlights the complex interplay between the grainy malt and fruity esters, resulting in a juicy finish with a restrained, smooth bitterness that captures the essence of the bready inspiration.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (5-6 SRM) with a heavy, opaque haze and a luminous shine. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and sticky lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of mango, passionfruit, and tangerine citrus. A supportive, bready, and grainy malt character remains prominent in the background, reflecting the bread-based inspiration without any roasted or caramel notes.

Taste. High tropical hop flavor of pineapple and stone fruit. The malt presence is bready and soft, balancing a low to moderate perceived bitterness. The finish is off-dry and juicy with lingering fruity esters and no hop harshness.
