Appearance. Deep gold color; hazy to cloudy clarity with a thick, creamy white head that exhibits excellent lacing and persistence.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by fresh pine resin and bright grapefruit rind. Underlying notes of light crackers and toasted grain provide a clean malt foundation. Fermentation is clean with minimal esters.
Taste. Bold hop flavors of resinous pine and citrus zest lead the palate, supported by a firm, clean bitterness. The malt profile is restrained and grainy, allowing the hops to dominate. It finishes decidedly dry with a lingering, crisp bitterness and a touch of grapefruit pith in the aftertaste.
