Pale Ale 5.2 º
This vibrant American Pale Ale centers on a lush, tropical bouquet driven by a potent trio of Southern Hemisphere hops. The sensory experience is defined by layers of ripe peach from Nectaron, pungent passion fruit and zesty lime from Riwaka, and the complex berry-like candy notes of Superdelic. These juicy elements are supported by a clean, neutral pale malt base that provides structure without distraction. At 5.2% ABV, it offers a bright, refreshing profile with moderate bitterness and a crisp finish, embodying a modern approach to the style where hop-forward aromatics and drinkability are paramount.
Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM) with a moderately large, white, creamy head showing good retention and light lacing. Generally clear, though a very faint hop haze may be present.
Aroma. Moderately-high hop intensity featuring prominent stone fruit, passion fruit, and citrus zest. Low neutral, grainy maltiness provides a clean background. Very low fruity esters; no DMS or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression of tropical fruitiness followed by peach and lime zest. Moderate hop bitterness provides balance against a light, crackery malt profile. Clean fermentation with a medium-dry, crisp finish and lingering hop character.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. Smooth and refreshing without any astringency or harshness. No noticeable alcohol warmth.
