Hinterland offers a modern, juicy interpretation of the American Pale Ale, utilizing a trio of expressive hops to create a vibrant sensory profile. Mosaic provides a foundation of ripe berries and stone fruit, while Vic Secret contributes sharp notes of pineapple and passion fruit. The addition of Talus Cryo imparts a distinctive and bold coconut character, accompanied by subtle hints of pink grapefruit and herbal sage. Though inspired by the softness of New England styles, it maintains the approachable strength of a classic pale. The result is a lush, tropical-forward experience with a smooth, pillowy texture and a clean, refreshing finish.

Appearance. Straw to pale golden (SRM 3-5). Features a persistent, frothy white head with excellent lacing and a characteristic hazy to opaque clarity.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruits like pineapple and mango, alongside a bold coconut note and hints of citrus. Low neutral, grainy maltiness supports the hops. Moderate fruity esters are present, reminiscent of peach and apricot.

Taste. Initial impression is juicy and fruit-forward. Hop flavors of passion fruit, pineapple, and coconut are prominent, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone. Bitterness is moderate but smooth, lacking harshness. Fermentation is clean with light fruity esters. The finish is medium-dry with lingering tropical fruit notes and a clean aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. No alcohol warmth is perceived at this strength, and the beer is completely free of astringency.
