Se trata de una cerveza de trigo que a diferencia de las similares de este estilo no se fabrica con trigo crudo, sino con un 60% de trigo malteado y un 40% de cebada sin maltear. Por ello en la etiqueta se la califica como Gerstebier (cerveza de cebada). Es de color más oscuro que el resto de las blancas del país. Aromática, con buena espuma ligeramente marfileña y un gusto menos dulzón que las de trigo normales. El final es ligeramente amargo, con notas cítricas

Père Noël es una cerveza de Navidad, aunque muy diferente de cualquier otra cerveza de Navidad que usted conozca. Aunque la mayoría de cervezas de Navidad son ricas y dulce, esta es de color ámbar, 7% vol. Alc. fuerte y de gusto bastante amargo. El sabor complejo se completa con la adición de regaliz. En la receta también podemos encontrar malta pálida, malta Munich, malta caramelo y lúpulo Brewers Gold y Hallertau.
