Comercial Description:

Una India Pale ale hecha en colaboración entre De La Senne, Jeff Bagby (Pizza Port) y Mike Rodriguez (Lost Abbey) que salió al mercado en agosto de 2012 por lo visto de forma aislada y sin previsiones de que vuelva a salir.

Cerveza especial belga muy fuerte, 10,5% de alcohol, de alta fermentación y con segunda fermentación en botella.

De tonalidad ambarina y algo turbia, la Piraat y no sólo por su nombre, arranca de forma agresiva, con espuma abundante y una gran variedad de aromas sorprendentes, recordando diferentes tipos de malteados y hierbas.

De su sabor apreciamos al principio el alcohol, pero su segunda fermentación le da un cuerpo que va redondeando a un amargor seco y pronunciado.

La Piraat acompaña muy bien al pescado sazonado, conejo a la brasa o estofado, carne de caza menor y quesos fuertes y azules.

Bacchus Frambozenbier

This frambozenbier, or raspberry beer, is brewed using Bacchus Oud Bruin which sets it apart from most raspberry beers that are based on lambic or geuze. The standout characteristic of this beer is its beautiful balance between sour and sweet with aromas of very sweet raspberries, malt and earthy yeast. Bacchus Frambozenbier is mild and slightly sour with hints of balsamic vinegar. It sparkles on the tongue and has plenty of body. The roast malt contributes a slight touch of caramel. The finish is dominated by sweet raspberries and a mild sourness.
