Omnipollo Maz - Mazarin

Mazarin is my take on a “thinker’s beer”. Rather than being big and undecipherably complex I wanted to create something that would calm a hop yearning nerve without fuddling the brain too much. In other words, a lavishly hopped ale of judicious ABV — an Extra Special Pale Ale if you will.

In fact, so extra special that it snatched a gold medal at the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival in 2013.

In november 2014 we doubled the hop bill.

Mangofeber Session IPA

Session IPA with Mango

In the words of Brewski “It is said that your first born will always carry a special place in your heart.” As Brewski’s first beer ever, Mangofeber has conquered tastebuds male and female, old and young, national and foreign. They do however admit to always evolving this beer, so here is a light session version for anyone that wants to enjoy all the flavours with less buzz. Fruits off to you, mates! A more low ABV than it’s counterpart!

Oppigårds Thurbo Stout

Thurbo is the old spelling of our rural industrial center. Nowadays it’s spelled Turbo. In Thurbo there were a sulphite factory and sawmill until 1970. Before that there were also some foundries and power plants. We wish that the name Thurbo will connect with local history as industrial center and also point out that our beers in the Thurbo series are a bit stronger than the rest of our range of beers. The beer is brewed with oatmeal and smoked malt. The smoked malt as flavor is present but not overpowering giving the beer a little more complexity. This beer is hopped with a single early hop addition. We think that this stout tastes best between 15-18 degrees celsius. This beer is unfiltered and may contain residual yeast.

Food pairings: This is a really great beer for the dessert! Bake a moderately bitter French chocolate cake with good chocolate and enjoy with Thurbo Stout. Some things are just made for each other.
