Hopus Primeur

This hop was carefully selected as a result of several tests, and has been sourced in the United States for the third consecutive year. It is used during the dry-hopping phase, once fermentation is complete. Also known as raw hopping, this technique consists in the cold extraction of hop flavours, and offers the advantage of faithfully reproducing the taste profile. Its flavours will therefore be extremely elaborate: fruity notes of grapefruit and gooseberry blending with floral notes of jasmine, with a touch of exoticism brought by passion fruit and lychee. Its tasting ends with a very catchy and floral finish. Its bitterness is frank yet pleasant with a nice, long post-bitterness. Cada año se produce una tirada de Hopus producida con lúpulos frescos para disfrutar de enero hasta abril.

De color amarillo pálido, y de aspecto turbio. La corona de espuma formada en vaso en el momento de servirla es amplia, densa y generosa.

En aroma se aprecia la influencia de los lúpulos que forman parte de la composición de la cerveza. Abundan las notas florales y herbáceas. También se detectan suavemente notas de especias y levaduras.

Se trata de una cerveza robusta, con cuerpo y con fuerza. Densa textura notablemente carbonatada que resulta algo seca.

El sabor está marcado fuertemente por el alto y variado contenido en lúpulo, dando un regusto profundamente amargo.
