A deep mahogany red strong ale, a classic example of a ‘winter warmer’; high in alcohol and rich in taste. An excellent balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness giving rich aromas of Christmas cake and pleasing rich and smooth flavours with hints of black treacle and vine fruits.
