Bruegel Amber Ale

Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Bruegel recibe su nombre en honor del famoso pintor del siglo XVI Pieter Bruegel, la etiqueta está ilustrada con una parte del cuadro "El baile de los mendigos".

Es de color ámbar con reflejos brllantes, una cabeza de espuma media. Muchas pequeñas burbujas finas. Aroma afrutado, a malta y cítricos que se refleja también en el sabor. Cuerpo ligero, muy refrescante y bebible. Amargor muy ligero.

Cerveza de abadía, tipo tripel, 9 % de alcohol, de alta fermentación y con segunda fermentación en botella.

Como su nombre indica, la Augustijn Grand Cru es la versión tripel de la Augustijn Blond: siendo más fuerte, en graduación alcohólica y amargor, que luce un color dorado haciendo honor a su fama de ser una de las maravillas en el firmamento de las cervezas belgas.

Su aroma afrutado, típico de una triple, combina con su pronunciado amargor debido al abundante uso de varios tipos de lúpulo y esa magnífica combinación se perfecciona durante la segunda fermentación en botella, donde se forma de manera natural esa grandiosa capa de espuma.
