Cassels and Sons American Pale Ale is an American style pale ale from Cassels Brewery, New Zealand. Founded in 2009, Cassels Brewery is one of the only wood-fired breweries in the world. The brewery was heavily damaged in an earthquake in 2011, but they rebuilt, adding a cafe, bar, music venue and restaurant to the brewery site – making the Cassels Brewery a destination for beer lovers. Fruity and aromatic, the abundance of American hops take the lead. Tropical fruit salad and passion fruit flavours give way to a soft, clean bitter finish. Cassels and Sons American Pale Ale was awarded the title of World’s Best Pale - American Style Pale Ale at the 2021 World Beer Awards.
